About this app
PlotMinto is a short-episode video player. This version has no account registration, user uploads, subscriptions, developer-operated analytics or crash-reporting service. It includes Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob, Legacy 25.5.0), Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP 4.0.0) and AndroidX Media3. This store version contains only five Creative Commons Blender films and uses Google official test ad identifiers. A user may choose to complete a rewarded test ad to unlock one episode locally. Test advertisements still use third-party network services; this is not a claim that no data leaves the device.
Information stored on your device
The app stores your language choice, followed titles, viewing history, playback position, episode unlock records and preferences locally. The cash-mode feature defaults to off and its wallet, balance and reward-task interfaces are hidden in the default store experience. Remote configuration can enable that feature. Existing local ledger, check-in, task or demonstration-request records from earlier use may remain when cash mode is off; hiding the feature does not delete them. If the feature is enabled, its local records and preferences are stored on this device. No real payment processing or collection of real payment-account details is implemented. The app does not upload these records to a developer server. Settings > My List > Clear history deletes playback history only and preserves follows and unlocks. Settings > Clear cache deletes cached video only. Android Settings > Apps > PlotMinto > Storage > Clear data deletes the app’s local records, including unlocks and preferences. Uninstalling removes app-local data. This version disables Android application backup. We do not offer account-based recovery or synchronization between devices.
Video delivery
Playback connects directly over HTTPS to the content host identified in each title’s source information, currently video.blender.org. The host receives your IP address and ordinary request information, such as requested file, time and HTTP headers, in order to serve the video and operate its service. The app may retain temporary playback cache on the device. We do not operate these hosts or control their server log retention. See Blender’s privacy policy for their privacy information. The catalog contains Creative Commons demonstration films and attribution links.
Advertising and privacy messages
Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects and shares IP address (which can indicate approximate location), product interactions such as app launches, taps and video views, diagnostic information such as performance and hang information, and device/account identifiers including advertising ID and app set ID where available. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. The app does not add a separate analytics SDK. Google documents these practices at developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure and policies.google.com/privacy.
UMP requests the information needed to determine and display applicable privacy messages, records privacy choices and communicates with Google’s consent service. Where required, the app requests updated consent information and presents applicable messages before requesting advertisements. A Privacy options entry is provided when required by UMP. Choices and availability depend on region and Google configuration. Non-personalized or limited advertisements are not a promise that no information is processed. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID through Android privacy settings. This version uses Google official test ad identifiers rather than production ad-unit identifiers.
Remote feature configuration
If a remote configuration URL is configured, the app requests it over HTTPS to load feature and advertising settings. That server receives the IP address and ordinary HTTP request information needed to respond. The configuration may enable cash mode; absent an explicit successful enablement, the app defaults it to off. The app caches configuration locally. This request does not upload the local viewing history, follows, unlocks or ledger records.
Retention, deletion and requests
Local app records remain until cleared or removed as described above. Google and the video host control retention of information processed by their services under their own policies. We cannot promise deletion of third-party logs merely by clearing app history. For privacy questions and requests, contact developer@xlemon.cn; do not send passwords or sensitive documents. There is no app account to delete. Any information you choose to send to us will be used to answer your request and retained only as needed to resolve it and meet applicable obligations.
Security and international processing
Video and Google network connections use HTTPS/TLS. Local storage relies on Android’s application storage protections. No system can guarantee absolute security. Third-party providers may process data outside your country, subject to their policies and applicable safeguards. This app does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise-location access.
Audience and changes
This app is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not marketed to children. The demonstration films include fantasy threat, violence and emotionally intense scenes; the app’s audience setting is not an official content rating. If you believe a child has supplied personal information to us, contact us at the address above. We will update this policy when the app’s actual practices change and publish the current version in the app and at this URL.
